NLP and MBIT qualified

Having embarked on my own journey of self discovery with an NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming – diploma, I knew I could help others. So I went on to study for the NLP Practitioners Qualification and then the NLP Coaching Certification.

So what is NLP Therapy? Neuro-linguistic programming is intended to help clients understand their own minds and how they come to think and behave the way they do. With the aid of NLP techniques, clients can learn to manage the moods and emotions and ‘reprogram’ the way they process information. I am passionate about bringing these techniques into the world of weight loss.

MBIT is a beautiful process all about Multiple Brain Integration Techniques. It’s where we will look at aligning your 3 brains – your head brain, your heart brain and your gut brain – so that they are all in tune and helping you on the way to true transformation.

Helping you reach the ideal weight

I have 15 years’ experience as a hugely successful consultant with one of the UK’s leading weight loss organisations. My groups were multi-award winning groups with one shortlisted in the top 5 nationally – out of 8000 – for the 2023 Group of the Year award.

My role as a consultant was all about helping people with what they ate and supporting and motivating them to follow a plan. In my role as a coach, I want to take that further and help people better by delving into the deeper issues surrounding weight loss.

My Story

I have struggled with my weight my whole adult life having put on weight during my first year of university. I lost 4 stone at the age of 22 and now 20 years later I have kept the majority of that weight off, but I have to really work at it, it doesn’t come naturally.

Over the years I have come to realise that losing weight and keeping the weight off is more than what we put in our mouths. It’s learning about our stoppers. And until we identify our stoppers, we will never fully make our new habits around food second nature. Those stoppers are buried deeply in our unconscious minds and until we can bring them into our conscious minds, we will never be able to fully arm ourselves with the knowledge we need to put the protectors in place to stop the self-sabotage from keeping happening.

Knowledge is power

Many of those stoppers have been buried in our unconscious minds throughout the whole of our adult lives and until we know what they are we can’t protect ourselves from them. As someone who has been through all of this personally, I am passionate about helping others.

Binge eating, secret eating, overeating, fad diets, crash diets, self-sabotage, I have been there and done them all.

Why me

There are a lot of weight loss organisations out there all about what we eat and drink and how to lose weight with calorie counting and diets, but I want to help people understand their relationships with food and reprogram their thinking.
