With 15 years of experience as a highly successful consultant with Slimming World, I have helped countless individuals achieve their weight loss and slimming goals. My groups were multi-award-winning, with one being shortlisted in the top 5 nationally for the 2023 Group of the Year award, out of 8,000 groups.

As a consultant, my focus was on helping people with their food choices, supporting, and motivating them to stick to a slimming plan. Now, in my role as a coach, I aim to go beyond traditional weight loss approaches and help individuals by addressing the deeper issues surrounding weight loss and sustainable slimming.

My Story

I have struggled with my weight my entire adult life, gaining weight during my first year of university. At the age of 22, I lost 4 stone, and now, 21 years later, I’ve managed to keep the majority of that weight off. However, it hasn’t been easy—maintaining weight loss takes consistent effort. It wasn’t until recently that I had a light bulb moment, realising that after 21 years, I was still on a diet! Why? Because if I stopped following “the plan,” the weight would come back. I hadn’t made any lifelong changes at all!

I passionately believe that true weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight go beyond just what we eat. It’s about understanding our “stoppers.” Until we identify these blockers, we can’t make lasting slimming habits second nature. These stoppers are buried deeply in our unconscious minds, and until we bring them into our conscious awareness, we can’t arm ourselves with the knowledge needed to implement protectors and stop the cycle of self-sabotage.

NLP and MBIT qualified

Having embarked on my own journey of self-discovery with a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) diploma, I knew I could help others achieve lasting weight loss and transformation. I then pursued further qualifications, completing the NLP Practitioners Qualification and the NLP Coaching Certification.

So, what is NLP Therapy? Neuro-Linguistic Programming helps clients understand their minds and how they come to think and behave the way they do. Using NLP techniques, clients can manage their moods and emotions while “reprogramming” the way they process information. I am passionate about integrating these NLP methods into the world of weight loss, helping individuals make lasting changes to their relationship with food.

MBIT, or Multiple Brain Integration Techniques, is a beautiful process that aligns your three brains—your head brain, heart brain, and gut brain—helping you achieve a balanced, holistic approach to weight loss and true transformation.
